Billy Unlocks his Independence!

We are excited to announce that ROOF has officially welcomed another resident to the ROOF family! On August 1, 2019 Billy signed his lease on the dotted line, making him the second resident in the ROOF Liberty Place home in Immokalee.

People with intellectual and developmental disabilities are faced with hurdles in their everyday lives, some of which can hinder their feelings of independence. However, Billy (with the assistance of the ROOF team), is now able to achieve his goal of living independently. Surrounded by his support staff, friends, family, and future roommate, Billy received the keys to unlock his independence!
